Stress
To supplement the last post I will post a little information about stress. Did you know that stress effects your entire body, not just your mind? It's true. There are over 80% of Americans who currently admit to being over stressed. That is a very high percentage! Do you feel you are stressed?
Stress comes in many forms, there is good stress and bad stress. Good stress can include watching a scary movie or riding a roller coaster. It is a short term stress that can allow the body to return back to a normal state and is actually good for the body in moderation. However, people are continuing to have more and more "bad stress" such as being over worked, not being able to pay bills, not eating correctly and much more. Their bodies are not able to return to this normal or baseline state in which our bodies were designed to be. More often than not, this stress turns into chronic and recurring stress which if not addressed can lead to serious health issues, such as Cardiovascular disease, depression, weight gain, memory loss, and loss of immune system function.
